Stage 1 - ERDWICH Refrigerant Extraction System KAA100
Efficient and safe draining of refrigerating devices
Based on the experience gained from supplying many recycling plants for refrigerating devices, whereby stage 1 had always been integrated into the plant concept by various manufacturers, we have now developed our own extraction system which is capable of extracting a wide range of refrigerants.
Our plant is both TÜV and ATEX tested and takes into account all current safety standards and plant technologies.
Extraction System - Process Sequence
Effiziente und sichere Trockenlegung von Kühlgeräten
In a first step, the refrigerating device to be drained is placed on a tipping table. The cooling circuit is pierced at its lowest point with extraction tongs and at the same time sealed from the outside air. Pressure transmitters then check whether there is still refrigerant in the system or whether only the compressor oil needs to be extracted. If there is pressure, the refrigerant is sucked into the extraction station. The oil is degassed, the refrigerant is condensed by increasing the pressure, and both are filtered by means of filter systems and separately filled into containers.
The inside of the plant is continuously ventilated by a fan. In addition, the plant is equipped with a gas detector in the interior of the machine and an oxygen sensor in the piping system. After the refrigerant/oil mixture has been extracted and separated, the compressors are cut out using shears and can be sent for further recycling. The refrigerator is then forwarded to the subsequent recycling stations.
