State-of-the-art recycling technology for a clean future

- Now being built at MB Recycling

One of the most modern recycling plants for the environmentally friendly disposal of refrigerators containing the propellants pentane (VHC) and CFCs (VFC) is currently being installed in Poland.
This high-performance system can shred 80 to a maximum of 100 refrigerators per hour and then cleanly separate the valuable raw materials they contain.
Our tried-and-tested RM1350/2-2500 ripper machine with HA800/1-1000 hammer mills installed directly underneath is installed here in the dust and gas-tight pre-shredding and post-shredding area.

From the 1st quarter of 2025, the complete system is expected to go into operation in combination with the new ERDWICH KAA100 refrigerant extraction system (stage 1) for efficient drying of cooling units.
The KAA100 enables process-safe extraction and separation of oil-refrigerant mixtures contained in the refrigeration appliances before the actual recycling application.

The innovative system extension is TÜV-certified, TA-Luft-compliant and has been awarded an explosion protection certificate in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU AwSV certificate (Ordinance on Installations for Handling Substances Hazardous to Water).
The entire system is of course designed in accordance with the latest European CENELEC standards in accordance with EN-50625-2-3 and CLL/TS 50625-3-4 July 2017.
Over the next few months, our experienced fitters will assemble 260 tonnes of high-precision steel on an area almost the size of a football pitch - and in record time!
We are once again setting new standards in recycling technology and making an important contribution to a clean and climate-friendly environment.

With innovative technology from ERDWICH, we are shaping the future of recycling - sustainably and efficiently.
