The M465/2-570 two-shaft shredder is used by our customer for shredding e-bike components such as bicycle displays, circuit boards, chargers, cable sets, battery housings (without cells) and complete bicycle drive units. The machine can be filled directly from the platform via the feed flap. There is a small feed chute as a support to push the parts through the strip curtain into the hopper of the machine. Another possibility would be to open the hopper lid mechanically with gas springs, which is electrically secured.
This means that the machine can only be put back into operation at the control cabinet when the lid is closed again. When shredding the entire bicycle drives, it must be ensured that they can only be fed in individually. A light barrier is mounted underneath the machine which checks the fill level in the on-site container and switches off the machine if necessary. The container must then be replaced or emptied accordingly.
