Maintenance work to increase security through Erdwich
In order to ensure the permanent safety of your employees on plants and machines, the following maintenance work should be carried out and checked regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions:
- Thorough cleaning of the system: removal of dirt or remnants from the cutting unit and system components.
- Lubrication of work equipment: Lubrication of the lubrication points, necessary oil changes on gear units with the specified lubricants.
- Readjusting / retightening: retensioning the knife sets, belts of conveyor systems and screw connections.
- Replace worn parts: Check knife sets, if necessary, regrind or replace them at special conditions. Replace oil or air filter.
- Safety devices: Check the function of the emergency chain and safety elements.
